Nona edizione di Trieste Loves Jazz. Il Festival, promosso dal Comune di Trieste nell’ambito di Trieste Estate ed organizzato dalla Casa della Musica – Scuola di Musica 55, si avvia dunque verso il significativo traguardo nel 2016 del suo decennale.
Come nelle precedenti edizioni, il Festival ospita protagonisti della scena jazz d’oltreoceano, artisti italiani ed europei di primo piano, numerosi musicisti del jazz triestino e regionale e riconferma la sua collaborazione con altri festival e manifestazioni musicali internazionali.
Tra il 15 e il 29 luglio si terranno 22 concerti in due tra i più suggestivi luoghi della città, Piazza Verdi e il parco del Civico Museo Sartorio poi, dopo una breve pausa, il Festival si chiuderà il 9 agosto alle ore 4.50 con l’ormai consueto concerto all’alba su Molo Audace.

Ninth edition

15 July – 09 August 2015, Trieste

Promoted by the Municipality of Trieste within its Summer Cultural Framework and organised by the Casa della Musica – Scuola di Musica 55, in 2015 TriesteLovesJazz celebrates its ninth edition and is approaching the important milestone of its 2016 decennial.
The festival’s guidelines include the presence of great names of the jazz scene from beyond the pond, as well as first rate Italian and European artists, and of course, last but not least, several triestine and local jazz musicians, and it also has strong links to other international music festivals and happenings.
Between the 15th and the 29th of July, more than twenty concerts are to be held, in two of the town’s most evocative spots, Piazza Verdi and Museum Sartorio; after a hiatus, there shall be one last date, a dawn concert on the Audace Pier on the 9th of August.
